Foo Fighters was formed in Seattle by former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl in 1994 after that band dissolved following Kurt Cobain’s death.
I don’t know their music very well and only have their Greatest Hits album. The one song of theirs I know and listen to, often, is The Pretender. It’s a high-energy rock piece. It’s also a song our lad Kieran covered with vocal and acoustic guitar some years ago in a solo show he played. The show might have been at the former Rose ’n Bee (now the Handsome Daughter) on Sherbrook Avenue in Winnipeg, Canada. He also played that version, at my request, as one of his Quarantine Covers series on Instagram TV Videos.
